This is a drawing I did for My grandpa's biography.  It is a grape arbor and swing he built.  It was his last project before he died.  I drew my mom and me on the swing.  The B shaped bird in the corner is my signature.  He is pulling up a night crawler.  Grandpa Poulson used to wake me up at 4:30 in the morning to dig night crawlers by flashlight before a day of fishing on Strawberry Reservoir.
I did the drawing with pencil then scanned it into photoshop to "paint" it.  Jason Ford taught me this technique!

Brett's Garden Art
This is the daily harvest.  My table has looked like this every day more or less since mid July.

So far I have 4 gallons of dried apricots  5 gallons of dried plumbs, 50 quarts frozen soup, 11 gallons of dried apples, 100 quarts of frozen peaches, 200 pounds of carrots, 300 pounds of beets and a bunch of butternut and kabocha squash etc.   Let's see if I can last more than 8 months without shopping this year!

This is a rocket Hannah and her dad Jason built and flew together. It went up 1150 feet into the air. When the parachute came out the wind came and blew it away. They got in the car and drove around the neighbor hood before finding it on some ones roof.
